Patrick OãConnell Sr. 68 of Rt. 30, Hope died Sunday March 20, 2005 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Granville, NY on July 28, 1937. He was the son of Dennis and Sara Pope OãConnell. He was employed in the Slate Quarry in Rutland Vt. for many years. He was married to Betty Whitney OãConnell who predeceased him on September 22, 1998. He is survived by his son; Patrick OãConnell Jr. of NC. A graveside service will be held in King Cemetery, Town of Northampton in the spring. Arrangements are by the Northville Funeral Home.
