Mr. Michael J. Bailey

Michael J. Bailey (50) passed away suddenly at his home in Northville on Monday, July 21st. Mike is survived by his loving wife Mindy of 28 years. They were married in Northville on August 9th of 1986. Mike graduated from Northville Central School in 1983. He was a self employed logger for 15 years before changing careers. For the past 14 years he worked for Bast Hatfield, as a mason. Mike is lovingly remembered by his wife Mindy; children; Melissa, Noah & Seth, father; Robert (Sue ) Bailey, mother; Susan (Don) Ellis; mother-in-law, Penny Gleaves, father-in-law, Russ Gleaves, brothers; Bobby (Cathy) Bailey, Ed (Adelia) Bailey, sisters; Lisa (Jack) Goodberlet, Amy (Ty Cramer) Baker, Heidi (Kim) Colson; brother-in-law's Russ (Candee) Gleaves, Tom (Jennifer Strauss) Gleaves, step brothers; Donald & Arthur Edwards, Steve (Mona) Ellis, Richard (Brandee) Ellis, Step Sisters; Joy (Pete) Allen & Suzanne Wintermute, several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mike was known as a happy easy going gentle giant and was known for his giggle. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and enjoyed hunting, fishing and four wheeling. The Celebration Of Life will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23rd at the Northville Funeral Home, 401 Bridge Street, Northville, NY.
