Julia V.R. "Nana" Bartholf

March 17, 1923 - December 18, 2014

Julia V.R. “Nana” Bartholf, age 91 of Northville died Thursday December 18, 2014 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. She was born on March 7, 1923, the daughter of the late; Francis J. and Margaret O’Rielly Neuberger. She was a graduate in 1937 from St. Patrick’s Parochial School. She was an ossan glove maker mainly for C.V. Bachner and Sons and Perrella Gloves. After retiring from glove work she helped her daughter; Diane Kennedy whose husband ran a bulk mailing business in Scotia. Julia was a communicant of the former Sacred Heart Church and member of the Rosary Society, now The Church of the Holy Spirit and Sisters of the Holy Spirit. Besides her daughter; Diane she is also survived by her daughter; Lucinda (Cindy and Bob) Bennett and son; Christopher (Kip and Pam) Richardson who together took loving care of her in her old age. Ten grandchildren of whom; Beth, Greg and Rick lived close by and would make her day by stopping in. Harry and Tracey always writing or calling from afar to make her day. Eleven great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter. A cousin; Teresa Neuberger of Colorado Springs and her dearest friends and brother and sister-in-law; Dick and Ruth Bartholf. Several nieces and nephews who called her Aunt Nana. She was predeceased by her daughter; Frances Georgia VanNostrand, her bother William (Bill) Neuberger and her sister-in-law; Ruth Bartholf. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Northville Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the spring in King Cemetery, Town of Northampton.
