James K. Kuhn

April 13, 1929 - January 2, 2022

James Kenneth Kuhn age 92, of Benson, NY passed away on January 2, 2022 after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his parents, his wife Louise and children Carol, Marguerite and Richard. One of his biggest accomplishments was being a husband and father to ten children. His surviving children are Susan, James, Karen, Diane, Debbie, Chris and Jennifer. He leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and siblings Ralph and Joan. For 40 years Jim owned and operated his own Heating Installation business on Long Island, NY. In 1988 he retired and moved to the upstate area where he had a summer home. His hobbies included woodworking and canning. He loved being outdoors on his tractor and tending to his apple trees and making applesauce. He enjoyed reading and had his newspaper in hand every morning. Jim was a hard worker who always was supportive and helpful to all that knew him. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Jim managed his illness with strength and grace. On his final days he was surrounded by his children. There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Northville Funeral Home.
