James A. Caldara

James A. Caldara, age 58, a resident of Gloversville passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2020 at the Nathan Littauer Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born in Gloversville, NY on June 23, 1961. The son of Anthony and Mildred Skadra Caldara. He was a graduate of Mayfield Central School class of 1979. James was employed for many years for Radio Shack as a manager. He was a member of Love City Church in Gloversville and active in the 4H Club for over 18 years. Survivors include his parents, Anthony and Mildred Caldara, his fiance; Debbie Phillips of Gloversville. His son, Andrew Caldara of Gloversville. His daughter, Brittany (Dan) Reece of Burleson, Texas. Two step-daugthers; Dana Marr of Baltimore, MD and Adrienne Phillips of Gloversville. Three grandchildren, Alyssa Marr - Gavin, Michael Marr and Karen Marr. One niece, Toni Perkins and one nephew Michael Perkins. He was predeceased by his sister Stephanie Schettine. James will be laid to rest in FernDale Cemetery, Johnstown. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Gloversville Funeral Home, 4 Second Ave., Gloversville, NY.
