Ida Mae Lobdell

Ida Mae Lobdell, age 70, a resident of Johnstown, NY passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St Mary’s Hospital of Amsterdam, NY with family by her side. She was born in Gloversville, NY on September 9, 1951, the daughter of Margaret Savage and Anthony J Caffalette Sr. She was employed at Coleco Industries and Hannaford for many years until her retirement. ​Survivors include her beloved dog Sadie Lynn and cat Angel. Her children Terri Lobdell (Chris), Ron Holland Jr. (Debbie). Grandchildren Brittany Crouse, Joshua Himpsl, Jonathan (Kelsey) Himpsl, and Jordan (Sarah) Himpsl. Siblings Anthony (Peggy) Caffelette Jr. and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was the fun grandma to her eight beloved great grandchildren. She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband George Lobdell Jr, Sister Sandra Akey, and her beloved dogs Ginger and Duke. ​There will be no service at this time, with a celebration of Ida Mae’s life and grave side burial to be announced at a later date.
