Cynthia Craig Liebow
November 10, 1940 - June 13, 2015
Cynthia Craig Liebow, devoted daughter, wife, and mother passed away Saturday June 13, 2015 with her children at her side. Born November 10, 1940, Cindy was the daughter of Franklin and Mildred Craig Dobbs, and the granddaughter of Elmer Craig and Mable Slack Craig, who later married Albert Earley after being widowed. Cynthia was most importantly, the adored wife of Marvin J. Liebow who preceded her. Cindy is survived by two of her children, Erick Schlapak and Sara Chadason as well as her two granddaughters, Kathryn and Amanda Chadason. Her son Rudi was taken far too early by illness many years ago. Some of Cindy’s passions included counseling, archaeology, history, art, travelling with her family and of course, her granddaughters. In her younger years, Cindy was passionate about coaching girls’ soccer in northern Virginia. Cindy and her husband were fortunate enough to travel the world having many wonderful adventures together. Germany, Nepal, India, Sweden, Tunisia, Greece, Scotland, just to name a few countries visited. Cindy had a love of life and a great love for her family, she was always willing to lend a helping hand and share her wonderful smile. A memorial was held Wednesday, June 17th in Palm Coast, Florida. The final internment will be held at Wells Cemetary, Wells, NY on Saturday August 15th at 11:00. Please contact Northville Funeral Home for any further information.
