Constance M. McGinnis

Constance M. McGinnis, age 99, a resident of Wells, NY passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021. She was born in Pointville, NJ on April 3, 1922. The daughter of the late Harry and Katherine Wells Dubell. Connie was employed by the Selective Service (Draft Board) from its inception in the early 1940’s and worked her way up to headquarters in Trenton NJ which was discontinued in the early 1970’s. She enjoyed traveling the world after retirement and moved to Wells in 1984 until her passing in 2021. Survivors include her son; Leon “Lee” Smith of Wells, Step-son; Michael Causey of Texas. Grandson; Lee A. Smith of Wells, NY. Granddaughter; Heidie Lynd living in Africa. Great granddaughter; Rhythm Faith Stewart also living in Africa. She was predeceased by her husband Jack W. Causey, and her next husband Herbert McGinnis. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wells Vol. Ambulance Corps, PO Box 550, Wells, NY 12190. There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Northville Funeral Home.
