Betty Jane Crowter

June 6, 1942 - February 4, 2022

Betty Jane Crowter, age 79, a resident of Mayfield passed away on Friday February 4, 2022 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. She was born in Gloversville, NY on June 6, 1942. The daughter of Alfred I. and Martha A. Dingman Foster. She was employed as a machine operator for many years for Central Linen in Gloversville. Survivors include; her children; Barbara (Douglas) Kampfer, Martha Phillip, Margaret Topliff, Duane Crowter Jr. and Robert Crowter Sr. Sisters; Carol Wilson, Elizabeth Fox and Shirley Foster. Many grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Duane E. Crowter Sr., her son; Alfred Crowter, and her two brothers Alfred J. Foster and Charlie Foster. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 9, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Northville Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in the spring in King Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Northville Funeral Home.
