May 29, 1961 - May 2, 2017

Andrew E Cordone, Jr , 55, of Sacandaga Park passed away at home after a long illness on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He was born on May 29, 1961 in Syracuse, New York to Andrew and Nancy Cordone. Andrew was married to Colleen Kenney on January 4, 2003 in Speculator, New York. His beloved son, Andrew E. Cordone, III was born on January 19, 2005. Andrew graduated from University of Massachusetts in Amherst and Northeastern University in Boston. He worked for Lucent Technologies for 20 years and then moved to New York and began his own construction business. Andrew loved snowmobiling, skiing, playing golf and watching the New England Patriots and the New York Yankees. He enjoyed traveling and visited his brother in California often. He loved watching his son play sports and especially enjoyed helping him with Boy Scouts as he was an Eagle Scout himself and hoped to help his son achieve the same goal. Andrew will be deeply missed by his wife, Colleen; his son, Andrew; his parents, Nancy and Drew Cordone; his brother, David (Susan); his father-in-law, John Kenney (Lou); his sister-in-law,Shelley Putnam (Robert); and brothers-in-law, John Kenney (Bridget) and Edward Kenney (Jennifer); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by his caregiver for the last two years, Constance Winn. He is predeceased in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Margaret Cordone and Earl and Erma Hytron and his mother-in-law, Michele Kenney. Viewing hours will be at Northville Funeral Home, 401 Bridge Street, from 3:00 p.m until 5:00 p.m on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. A service will follow at 5:00 p.m officiated over by Pastor George Hopper. Burial at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Northville, New York will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Andrew Cordone's name can be made to the St. Peter's ALS Center at 19 Warehouse Row, Albany, New York 12205 or Mountain Valley Hospice at 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, New York 12078.
