Albert "Al" J. Breda

Albert ¶Al÷ J. Breda, age 78, of 202 S. Main Street Northville died Thursday, March 17, 2005 after a short illness. Born September 26, 1926 in Watertown, Mass., the son of the late Giuseppe and Concetta Leombruno Breda.He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 2nd Armored Division in the Philippines and the 26th infantry in Germany during the occupation. He was discharged in 1949.Mr. Breda was employed by the Watervliet Arsenal and then by Ford Motor company in Green Island, NY for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, visiting with his many friends, and lending a helping hand whenever needed.Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Donna Bergens Breda; one son Paul G. Breda of Northville; one daughter Suzanne M. Sedon and her husband Carl W. Sedon of Northville. Three grandchildren whom Albert dearly enjoyed including Adrian and Taryn Sedon; and Hannah Breda. Three sisters, Lucille Breda and Phyllis Colfels both of Albany, NY, and Ann Pellascio of Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.Albert was predeceased by his four brothers, Michael, John, Anthony and Dominic and one sister Santerella. Friends may call on Sunday March 20, 2005 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Monday March 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville in the spring.
