Life Legacy

Milton C. Warner, 81 of South Second Street, Northville died Friday September 25, 2009 at home following a long illness.  He was born on October 26, 1927 in Mayfield, NY.  The son of the late; Leon and Adella Groff Warner.  He was a graduate of Mayfield Central School and owned and operated Warner’s Used Cars in Mayfield for many years. 


He was a former member of the Northville Rotary Club and the Gloversville Moose Club.


Survivors include his children; Daryl (Kimberly) Warner of Broadalbin, Darlene Blowers of Northville, Donna (Paul) Huebner of Greensboro, NC, Deanna Wilkes of Lyons, Dail (Brian) King of Gloversville, Lesa (George) Grosse of Johnstown, Teresa (Walt) Edwards of Edinburg, and step-children; Kimberle (John) Snyder of Maryland, Harold Gray Jr. of Fort Plain, Shawn (Shannon) Gray of Hadley.  One sister; Matilda “Tillie” Lock of Gloversville.  Twenty-six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one niece, one nephew and cousins also survive him.  He was predeceased by his wife; Carol Rhodes Warner, his brother; Burton Warner and his brother-in-law; Fay Lock.


Friends may call on Monday September 28, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm at the Northville Funeral Service Inc. where a funeral will be held on Tuesday September 29, 2009 at 11 am.  Burial will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,  Memphis, TN 38105.  A gathering will take place at Milt’s Home on Second Street following the committal service.  Condolences may be made to the family online at
