Life Legacy
Michael F. Kenna, 91 of Seven Hills Road, Northville died Saturday December 12, 2009 at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany. He was born in Amsterdam, NY on November 4, 1918. The son of the late; Michael and Eva Smith Kenna. He was a World War II Army Veteran serving from 1941 to 1945.
Mr. Kenna was employed as a service manager for JB Auto in Amsterdam for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1076 in Northville and the NRA.
Survivors include his children; Richard (Susan) Kenna of Northville, Charles (Jayma) Kenna of Henderson, TN, Timothy Kenna of Northville and Michele Marribitt of Geneva, NY. He is also survived by his favorite niece and nephew; Shelia and Jim Wheeler of Broadalbin and ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
There will be no calling hours. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Albany VA Medical Center or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Northville Funeral Home.
