Life Legacy

Edna Ovary, 99 formerly of Main Street, Northville died Thursday October 15, 2009 at the Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home in Clifton Park following a short illness.  She was born on October 10, 1910 in Jamaica, NY.  The daughter of the late; Albert and Ellen Petersen Jensen. 

She was a longtime resident of Flushing, NY and a graduate of Fanwood School for the Deaf in 1930 in New York City. 

She was employed for over twenty years for Elizabeth Arden Company in New York City retiring in 1973. 

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Alexander J. Ovary on May 22, 2003 and her siblings; Albert Jensen, Alvilde Mjaatvedt, Margaret Peleck, Caroline Finn, Peter Jensen, and Arthur Jensen. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 24, 2009 at the Northville Funeral Home at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Edinburg Cemetery, Edinburg.  Condolences may be made to the family online at www.northvillefuneralservice.com.
