Life Legacy

Dorothy C. Richardson, 88, of Gray Rd. in Mayfield died Wednesday December 23, 2009 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital. She was born on November 2,  1921 in Gloversville N.Y. The daughter of Nerie and Maude Dunn Coulombe.

She was a 1940 graduate of Wells Central School and a lifetime resident of the area.

Dorothy was employed as an office clerk at General Electric, Amsterdam Print, Crossly and Robison and Smith in Gloversville retiring in 1983.

She loved her family, reading, camping and traveling.  On December 6, 1946 she married Harold Richardson who died in 2004.

Dorothy is survived by her son; Gerald (Gid) Richardson of Mayfield.  One daughter; Hollie Dorman of Mayfield.  Three grandchildren; Chad Dorman of Virginia Beach Va., Sara Dorman of Long Island, and Alissa Sgmowski of Mayfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call Saturday December 26, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Mayfield Cemetery in the spring.
