Life Legacy
John C. Rauth, 88 of Yates Hill Road, Hadley died Monday May 10, 2010 at home after being stricken. He was born on July 11, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY. The son of the late; John and Marie Blocchle Rauth. He was a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and a graduate of Vores Technical Institute in New York City.
He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II serving from 1940 to 1945. He was a self employed Tool and die maker. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Saratoga, the North Country Senior Citizens, American Legion in Lake Luzerne, and a life member of the VFW in Hadley.
Survivors include one son; John Rauth of Springwater, NY. One daughter; Alice Jean Peltz of North Port, Long Island.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 15, 2010 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 149 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs, NY at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Saratoga National Cemetery on Monday May 17, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
