Life Legacy
Adelbert (Del) Roberson, 95 of Edinburg died April 19th, 2010 peacefully at home. He was born in Derry, NH, the son of the late; Morgan Roberson and Flora Sleeper. He served in WWII in the Army Air Corp as an aircraft mechanic.
He was an active community member, belonging to the Salem Grange Fish and Game Club and the Salem Fire Company. Later belonging to the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Company, Edinburg Emergency Squad and Post 1076 American Legion of Northville.
Survivors include his children; Jean (Todd) Becker of Edinburg, Susan (Michael) Capodiferro of Hagaman, Donna (Clifford) Hoffman of West Galway, and Barbara (Mick) Finley of Edinburg. Sister; Adelia Beggs of Claude, TX. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and also a great friend who was there to the end Evelyn Laport.
Friends and Family will be received at the Northville Funeral Home on Thursday April 22, 2010 from 9 to 11 a.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Batchellerville Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice. The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice for all the care and support given to Del and them.
