Life Legacy
Marion K. Deming, 73 of White Birch Road, Edinburg died Sunday February 28, 2010 at the Mountain Valley Hospice House in Gloversville. She was born on September 6, 1936 in Northville, New York. The daughter of the late; Alfred and Helen Warner. She was employed as an assembler at Mohawk Furniture in Broadalbin for many years.
On September 17, 1954 she married C. Jack Deming in Northville. She loved camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed feeding the deer, often having them eat right out of her hand.
Survivors include her husband; Jack Deming of Edinburg, three sons; Robert (Deanne) Deming of Hope, William Deming of Northville and Warren Deming of Edinburg. Four daughters; Roberta (Greg) Bedell of Edinburg, Penny (Bill) Ferguson of Gloversville, Karen Deming of Northville and Terri (Chris) Handy of Edinburg. One sister; Rachel (Robert) Blowers of Northville. Fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive her. She was predeceased by her brothers; Frank, James and Harold Warner.
Friends may call on Friday March 5, 2010 from 12 Noon to 12:30 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Michael Terrell officiating. Family and Friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate Marion’s life at the American Legion Post 1076 in Northville following the memorial service.
