Rosmarie M. Sattler

July 28, 1936 - January 22, 2010

Rosmarie M. Sattler, 73 of Speculator died Friday January 22, 2010 at the Mountain Valley Hospice House following a long illness. She was born on July 28, 1936 in Konissberg Germany. The daughter of the late; Fritz and Margarete Brokatzki Sattler. She worked as a waitress and cook for a Tug Boat Restaurant in Key Largo, Florida for a number of years.


She was a member of the Hamilton County TWIGS.


Survivors include her son; Andy and his wife Jean Paulinski of Sussex, Wisconsin. Two daughters; Veronica and her husband Timothy O’Rourke of Piseco and Christine Michienzi of Piseco. One brother; Manfred Sattler of Schwarzenbek Germany.


Seven grandchildren; Audrea Paulinski, Sgt. Timothy O’Rourke II, Patrick (Megan) O’Rourke, Christopher O’Rourke, Emily Michienzi, Matthew Michienzi and Grace Michienzi also survive her.


Friends may call on Wednesday January 27, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Burial will be held in Higgins Bay Cemetery, Piseco in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Piseco Ambulance Corps, Rt. 8, Piseco, NY 12139 or the Speculator Ambulance Corps, PO Box 282, Speculator, NY 12164.
